In 2014, just outside Warsaw – the capital of Poland – a new theme park will emerge that will have the same status, allure and grandeur of Disneyland in Paris. The theme park is meant to be the second large entertainment resort in Europe.
For this exciting project, that amongst other partners is being developed by JoraVision, I have made a promotional commercial.
The commercial highlights three different park area’s: the theme park with thrilling en adventurous attractions, a water paradise where people can spend their complete day, and the entertainment area with restaurants, shows and hotels.
As the park is not yet completed, I used other existing theme parks to film and encapsulate visitors faces, expressions and emotions. My goal was to show the fun everybody is having and make this radiate from the screen. I accompanied this basis with stirring music and very cool graphics.

The assignment was to create a spectacular theme park commercial of around two minutes. After completing the script I started with making a moving storyboard. This enabled me to communicate clearly to everybody involved in the film what kind of feeling the film should emit.
Composer John Dirne, creator of many top 40 music-hits, used this storyboard to compose the music for the commercial.
Together with several camera people, I visited numerous amusement parks and entertainment complexes to gather footage. I am thankful to the fantastic crew that enabled me to make the video, the 30 fantastic extras and four great actors.
